Where a habit tracker only records that you did something, Fixation captures what each session was actually like, with photos, timers, notes, ratings and more, and lets you share the journey with the friends who care instead of a public audience.
Every fixation is built from stackable log types, so the same app fits whatever you track. Log types include a timer, counter, number, time, date, date and time, notes, photos, video, a checklist, flashcards, a star rating and a multiple-choice field. Combine them to match what you do: a timer and a star rating for meditation, photos and notes for cooking, or flashcards and a counter for learning a language.
Everything you log stays private unless you choose otherwise. When someone you know shares an interest, you can invite them into a shared fixation with roles, from a co-logger to a view-only follower, so a parent can follow your training without logging anything themselves. Friends can like and comment on individual entries with emoji reactions, and Fixation includes direct messages and group chats so the conversation lives next to the log. There is no public feed and no strangers.
Your entries build into something worth looking back on. Streaks, a calendar view and per-fixation charts show the shape of your effort over time, and optional reminders help you keep showing up.
An Explore section offers ready-made fixation templates across categories like fitness, food, learning and travel, alongside fixations created and shared by the community. Start from a template or build your own from scratch and publish it.
Fixation runs on iPhone, Android and the web, and your fixations stay in sync across every device. It is free to start, with paid tiers that add more storage and longer video for heavier loggers.
